Insert An Image

  1. You must be in edit mode in your Wiki. If not in edit mode, click the pencil icon next to the “+” sign.

  2. Place your cursor where you want your image to appear.

  3. Click on the 5th button from the left in the edit bar to insert an image.

  4. You will be prompted to insert a text alternative. This is for any blind user who may visit your site and be using a text reader. Try to type something for your image.

  5. Choose the alignment using the buttons provided.

  6. Select the file you wish to use for your image by clicking on the “Choose File” button at the top of the window.

  7. Browse to the location of your file and select it.

  8. Your file will be uploaded and appear on your page where you indicated you would like it.

  9. If your file is too big, you will need to resize it using a photo editing application such as Photoshop, Gimp, or Microsoft Photo Editor.
