Create a WIKI Video Training Series

In response to a great deal of interest for an easy way to create teacher web pages and/or classroom blogs and wiki's, the HCS Technology department has built a server dedicated for just that purpose. With it, you will be able to easily create a blog or wiki and use it for in your classroom. It is very easy and this instruction manual will assist you in getting started. If you are interested in creating a classroom website with this server, we suggest you choose to create a Wiki because of the flexibility it will provide to you in creating multiple pages and easily adding content.


Creating a Wiki:

Log in to the wiki server:

  1. Open a browser and type the following in the address bar: minnie.hartlandschools.us

  2. Click on the Wiki button.

  3. At the top of the page, you will see a “Log in to my page” link. Click on that link.

  4. In the User Name field type in the same username you use to log onto outlook web access. For me it would be staff\scottusher.

  5. In the Password field, type your password for your email.

  6. Click Log In.

  7. You are now logged into the HCS Wiki Server.
