Have a great summer! Make sure your children read over the summer and practice math skills. Good luck with 6th grade.

Last Marking period: Please make sure your child is still filling out their planner, returning library books and keeping focused these last few weeks. We still have a lot of curriculum to cover. Ask your child about the bullying discussions and assemblies we have had and about Rachel's Challenge.

Also, we have been experiencing a lot of students returning to class late and misbehaving in the halls. In the front of your child's planner there is a ledger for hallway behavior. As a team, we have discussed our expectations and the importance of being on time and being ready for class when it begins. If your child has been written up for hallway behavior or for being late for class, it will be recorded, the third warning will result in a detention.

Please check out the front of your child's planner and discuss any inappropriate behavior with your child.
